Week beginning the 13th November

This week is Parliament week at school, so in amongst all of our usual learning, there will also be lots of learning about Parliament - if you have stories/pictures/expertise in this area, we woud love to hear from you this week! Just pop in on Monday morning and we can arrange a time for you to come in during the week and share your knowledge with us! 

I know a few parents have been asking after the data from check up week, it will be sent out this week!

Also, on Friday, we will be going down to the Brickcroft to get some inspiration for our writing and our Art by getting out and about in a bit of nature... It's a busy week!

This week will look like this:

English: Alice in Wonderland - writing our own chapter

GPS: 'Show me, don't tell me' sentences

Maths: Division and fractions (May I recommend parents vs children on this game - when you get up to the higher levels, it is really quite tricky! )

Science: Reversible changes

D.T: Designing products for Enterprise

Art: Creating 'Winter Warmer' posters (didn't get chance last week!)

Computing: E-safety

PSHE: Jigsaw - Parilament

R.E: Christian stories

French: Family

PE: Dance (Tuesday) and Beyond Sport (Monday)

If you have any artefacts/special skills/holiday pics etc. that would help us with our learning - please feel free to volunteer them! We would love to have some visitors to our class this year and learning always works best when it is contextualised!
