It is very much a science based 1/2 term looking at teeth and the digestive system. All interesting investigations. Any questions please don't hestitate to contact me.

Sing , by Mr Pearson
Date: 16th Nov 2017 @ 9:40am
Solo 1
Some words they can’t be spoken only sung,
So hear a thousand voices shouting love,
- 3 choir)
There’s a place, there’s a time, in this life,
When you sing what you are feeling,
Find your feet, stand your ground,
Don’t you see right now the world is listening
To what we say?
Sing it louder, sing it clearer
Knowing everyone will hear you
Make some noise
Find your voice tonight
Sing it stronger, sing together
Make this moment last forever
Old and young shouting love tonight.
Part 1 Part 2
To sing we’ve had a lifetime to wait, (wait, wait, wait)
And see a thousand faces celebrate
(We have to celebrate)
You brought hope, you brought light,
Conquered fear, no it wasn’t always easy,
Stood your ground, kept your faith,
Don’t you see right now the world is listening
To what we say….
Sing it louder, sing it clearer
Knowing everyone will hear you
Make some noise
Find your voice tonight
Sing it stronger, sing together
Make this moment last forever
Old and young shouting love tonight.
Solo 2
Some words they can’t be spoken only sung
To hear a thousand voices shouting love
(All) AND PEACE AND HOPE!
Just sing, just sing, just sing, just sing
Come on and
Sing it louder, sing it clearer
Knowing everyone will hear you
Make some noise
Find your voice tonight
Sing it stronger, sing together
Make this moment last forever
Old and young shouting love tonight.
(Solo 1) Hear a thousand voices shouting love.

Friday mindfulness , by Mr Pearson
Date: 20th Oct 2017 @ 11:22am
Today in Mindfulness session we have learnt to consider and focus on our breath.
we have also learnt to finger breath,
http://blissfulkids.com/mindfulness-for-children-take-five-exercise/
Next we looked at snow dome to explain how our mind can be at times all fizzzy and dizzy and how we can use mindfulness techniques our minds can then settle down
Finally, we looked at weeble wobbles to compare how sometimes in life we may have little things that might make us wobble and we bounce back, then when a big wobble in life might affect us, however like the weeble wobble we will bounce back.
Another good website to look at.
Mindfulness , by Mr Pearson
Date: 13th Oct 2017 @ 11:33am
Today we completed an experiment, the children had a choice of a minstrel chocolate or a blueberry. Two of the minstrels were place in front of the children, the first minstrel the children just consumed straight away.
The second minstrel, the children had to look at it first, turn it over, then smell it, touch their lower lip with it, then place it on their tongue and roll it around their mouth, finally they had to bite it in half and slowly saviour the taste.
The children will be doing this with their food over the next and have encouraged to train their parents.
The hippocampus part of our brain were used to take in all of the senses of eating the minstrel.
The hippocampus was then explained to the children as it links our memories together, when we sleep our brain files them away. An amazing lesson from Tanya once again.

Song for the class assembly, by Mr Pearson
Date: 12th Oct 2017 @ 9:56am
Please find below the song for our class assembly next Friday 20th October.
Verse 1
From many sources it’s brought to life,
The result electrifies!
Sent out through cables, to all our homes,
Bringing daily power suppli-i-ies.
Chorus It’s got the power, it’s got the strength.
It’s a current energy!
Let’s get connected, let’s get switched on
To e-lec-tric-i-ty-y-y!
Verse 2
It uses circuits, to make its rounds!
Flows through wires to plugs and more!
We find a socket and turn it on,
Powering gadgets we ad-o-o-ore!
Chorus It’s got the power……
Verse 3
Conductors like it, let it pass through.
Insulators like to block!
Electric power, treat it with care!
Or you’ll get a nasty sho-o-ock!
Chorus It’s got the power……
Repeat E-lec-tric-i-ty-y-y!’
E-lec-tric-i-ty-y-y!’

Investigation of electricity , by Mr Pearson
Date: 4th Oct 2017 @ 2:22pm
Today we were doing electricity and investigating how electricity would work .
We were using batteries and wires to put on the light screws and the light should light up.
We found out different ways to make it light up we use all Metal things.
we have also tested which materials are conductors of electricity and which are insulators.
Lots of excitement had by all.
