Hippos Time To Shine

The Hippos have had a very busy week. I am very proud of how they have tackled check up week with smiles on their faces and determined attitudes. They certainly have SHONE! As well as tackling their assessments the children have been completing their survival tests at swimming and have impressed their swimming teacher with their skill and determination. In between assessments work has continued and today we discovered that we have a number of future sports commentators in the class. The task saw them turning a poem written in first person into a third person commentary. We then had fun using the iPad to video each other.
