Longton Reading Challenge

Today is the start of our brand new reading for pleasure challenge. The challenge is for the children to read and share books of their  choice that they  read over and above their school books. These can be books they have at home or books borrowed from the library. Record the title of each book on the challenge sheet and give it a star rating, 1 to 5. 1 being not very good, 5 being an excellent read. Once 5 books have been read the sheet should be given to the class teacher so a bronze certificate can be awarded. Repeat this at every reward point on the sheet.
