Science through art

This afternoon the Kangaroos continued their learning in science. They are currently learning about their bodies and today we were learning about the circulatory system. To do this they used art to show what the heart, arteries and veins look like. They also learnt that the blood in arteries is red because it carries lots of oxygen and that the veins look blue or purple because the blood contains less oxygen.
