Action Plan 2013 English
Our focus in writing this year is to improve the attainment in writing at all levels. We will do this by:
- Subject leader attending training on writing within the new curriculum and exciting writing.
- Whole school approach on writing to be agreed
- Staff meetings to be held to inform all staff about exciting writing
- Parent workshop to be held on writing
- Training for staff in Pie Corbett talk for writing model
- Creative writing club to be held
- Website to be updated with a writing blog to share children’s writing
- Learning platform to be used to promote short writing opportunities
