Action Plan maths 2013

Our main focus in maths this year is to improve marking and feedback in maths to more effective in supporting the children’s progress. This will be achieved by

• Develop an improved system of marking and feedback that is effective in supporting learning as well as being manageable for staff. Oral and written feedback is to be included.
• Ensure all staff are confident in developing and writing Next step statements
• Staff training will be given in staff meeting to explain system and the benefits for the children and staff.
• Monitoring of quality feedback in children’s books to ensure comments are effective.
