Parliament week

This week it has been Parliament week and the Penguins have been finding out about the Houses of Parliament, who the Prime Minister is, the House of Common and the House of Lords and what colour the seats are. Today we had a debate discussing if we should let people bring in chocolate, crisps or sweets as a snack at playtime. We designed posters to persuade people and then discussed the ideas. The children then had to vote by marking a "ballot paper" and I have counted them and..........17 votes for keeping snacks healthy  (the chocolate,sweets and crisps 12) so the Penguins have definitely got the healthy message😀
