To begin, each child will develop their woodwork skills (using a variety of tools) and create a model aeroplane. They will then learn how motors can be used to things move before designing and making their own motorised toy vehicle.

To start off this week, Year 6 each began making an aeroplane for Superman (who has forgotten how to fly). I expect they will finish these next week!

Year 6 Class Assembly, by Mr Coxhead

Date: 28th Oct 2016 @ 10:02am

Year 6 finished the first half-term on a high this morning with a fantastic class assembly performance! They feel extremely proud of themselves after the performance and so they should!

A few snapshots can be seen below.

We've also added the video clip from the opening segment of the assembly. The curtains opened to reveal an empty stage with a live broadcast projected on to the screen from our pretend class 'CCTV cameras' - see video. When the class arrived on the stage, they realised they had forgotten the script. Connor volunteered to go back and collect it (which is why he appears again at the end of the video clip).

We wish everyone a happy and safe half-term! See you all in early November to continue the great start to our year.
