Another busy week

Time really does fly by when you are having fun!The Kangaroos have had another very busy week and have had fun whilst learning. Handwriting was great fun when we turned into characters from Harry Potter and used our magic wands (rulers in disguise) to do some magic handwriting in the air. Thiknig Thursday agin challenged the children to use their mathematical knowmedge to help Dectective Dan find a mystery number. The puzzle certainly made the children think and we have decided that as a tribe we need to develop our mathematical vocabulary to help us to solve problems.There was also great excitement when Jane the swimming teacher came to talk to the children. They listened well as she expalined what will hppen when they start their lessons. The lessons will start on Thursday 19th September. I will send a letter home with a reminder of what is needed.The class are continuing to settle in well.
