Busy Busy Busy

The Hippos have been working hard in Literacy to learn about the features of fiction and non fiction books. They have been finding out about blurbs, acknowledgements, publishers to name but a few. In numeracy the children have been revisiting place value and yesterday we even talked about how many digits there are in one million.

The children will be changing their reading books on Thursday so please make sure they have them in their book bags.

Also just to let you know that the children can come into school at 8.40 am. They should come in by themselevs please.

Please could you remind your child to leave toys at home. A number of children are bringing trashpacks into the classroom and this is not allowed. They are much safer at home so that they can be fully enjoyed.

The swimming teacher from Leyland pool is coming to talk to us about swimming on Thursday. The children will then start their lessons next week. A letter will be sent home to let you know all of the details.
