Giraffes Remembrance Day

This morning we have talked about some of the history of Remembrance Day . We then closed our eyes and tried to imagine what war woul look like, feel like, smell like and taste like. Next we wrote about what peace would feel like, taste like, look like and smell like. We thought about peace to remember all of the men and women who have been killed or injured so that we can have the lives we have today. It also made us think about places in the world where there are still conflicts and we decided that we want all of the world leaders to work hard to make the world a totally peaceful place.

assembly was lead by Mr Turner from the Royal British Legion and we at 11 am we stood silently for 2 minutes.

By lunch time there were lots of very hungry brilliantly dressed Giraffes ready for a lunch  of mince and dumplings.
