Growth Mindset at Longton

This morning our pupils enjoyed a great assembly run by the author Mike Gerson, an author , who helped the children learn about growth and what it means to them. 

Our pupils demonstrated their learning throughout by answering some thinking questions. 

How could the character in the story overcome a problem: 

Thomas year 4 - go under the water

caitlin : overcome the guard by dressing up as one

Amy Wright - trick him

Bobby - snack to distract him

They showed that;

Everything that you want to do is inside yourself 

What is our brain like?

William mc- brain like Google

Bro win - brain like a camera

Alex - computer - can remember and store things well

Hannah - a controller which controls your body
