Author Visit - Longton Library

We had a really enjoyable morning at at the library. We met Graham Fletcher the author of 'Oleg the Giant'. We talked about what makes us want to read a book and looked around the library for a book we might choose to read and explain to our partners why we chose it. 

We explored the idea of a giant and measured some of us to see who was as close to the size of Oleg.

Mr Fletcher then read us his story.  He stopped near the end and left it on a cliff hanger!!!   Luckily Mrs Catterall has a copy and finished the story.  We really enjoyed it and are going to do some work in English about the book after Christmas.
