Our first week back
Date: 7th Sep 2017 @ 7:47pm
The first week is nearly over and what an amazing week it has been. The Bongos have settled into year 3 fantastically. They have been well mannered, showed a really good work ethic and I'm super proud of all of them. Their hard work and concentration hasn't gone unnoticed, as both Mrs Brown and Mrs Woolley have given them a class compliment.
This week we have being thinking about our classroom expectations, how to set out work out in our books and generally getting to know each other better.
The children have had an exciting day today. We took part in a British Values Workshop with our visitor Mr Beresford and we had a taster of Jujitsu this afternoon as well.
Tonight the children gave brought home their red homework folders. There is a large collection of paper for you to read through inside.
This weeks Homework tasks. English - write a short paragraph reflecting on your first week in year 3. Maths - write out your 2x, 5x and 10x tables. Homework is to returned in the red bags by Tuesday please.
I look forward to meeting you all at the 'Meet the Teacher' meeting next Tuesday.
