Shadows

We still haven't managed to get the sunshine for our work on shadows outside, however this hasn't stopped us exploring them in the classroom.

How can I use 1 object but make my shadow larger and smaller?

We used screens and torches to create shadows and see how we could change their size.  Our conclusion, the closer the object the light source the bigger the shadow.
