Surviving the Stone Age

We have all had an amazing day today. We have attempted to light a cotton wool ball on fire using flint and steel. Some were more successful than others, one thing is for sure the Meerkats have determination, they never gave up and were determined to succeed.  Time was up and it got a bit windy but they want me to bring back the equipment so they can have another go.  Super proud of the positive attitude.🙂

We became hunter gathers, finding berries and nuts and recording whether they were safe to eat or not. 

We built a shelter and made weapons. At the end of the day they had to try and catch a mammoth!

Lots of mud, fresh air and fun, now time for a bath and a good nights sleep.
