The Week Ahead

I hope everybody has had a good holiday and that the Easter Bunny visited you all.

Here is a brief outline of some of the things we will be getting up to over the next few days.

• guided reading                                                             estimating the position of numbers on number lines
• past and present tense                                                counting on and back in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s
• prediction                                                                    partitioning numbers in different ways
• inference                                                                      using = < and > to compare numbers
• spelling words ending in el and le    
• sory writing- Through The Door

RE think about the significance of doors and the feelings they instil in us when they are opened or closed. Talk about different doors we know and use.

As well as thiese activities the children will be doing English, Maths, ICT,PE and Science with Mr Pearson on Thursday.

I am looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning, with Jury Service and the holidays it seems a long time since I was with you all. I have missed you all.
