Dear Diary

Wednesday 26th April 1824 6am

Off to the cotton mill again. Sloppy old porridge again.  I have the worst job in the world. Every day I get up and nearly chopping my hands off, rubbing  my hands together with sores everywhere, bleeding constantly.  It’s just pain after pain after pain.
