Welcome back

Date: 18th Apr 2017 @ 7:22pm

Hope you all had a great Easter, had a good rest and are ready for more exciting learning!

This week in English we are starting our new class book 'The Mousehole Cat' . We are looking at the characters and using lots of descriptive language for the setting.

In spelling the focus is on words spelt with  'sc' which make the sound 's' e.g. Scent

Maths this week is looking at at continuous data graphs, collecting our own data and drawing graphs. We are also revising adding 4 digits.

Geography work will be looking at what a river is and locating local rivers and other water features e.g. lakes, canals, seas using ordanance survey maps.

We will start thinking about our DT projects, this week ,which is to designate wallet/ purse. Our first lesson will be looking at a selection of different wallets and purses to see how they fasten, what material they are made from. Bring in your favourite wallet/ purse for us to look at.

It is our turn for the enterprise challenge next week, if you have any ideas for a savoury snack we could make,or would like to come in and help us cook, you are more than welcome, please let me know.

The most exciting news for us us that we can move back into our new and improved classroom, we can't wait!
