Black Belt Fever

Two of the crocodiles had an amazing weekend. Read on to find out more.

This weekend, we ( William and Thomas - Year 6) went to Our Lady's High in Preston to compete for our Junior Black Belt.

The grading took 5 hours, with 125 different moves on the black belt syllabus and we were required to do it 3 times with only 1 break. We began Jujitsu together at the age of 6 and have been practicing and attending classes from once to twice a week. Now this has changed as we are junior leaders for one of those sessions. It took a lot of hard work and practice and determination to continue. It's a great martial art and aims to help discipline and promotes self defence.

The boys will perfoming some of their moves at the assembly on Friday. Make sure you ask your children about their excellent skills.
