Children In Need
Our pupils lead the way when it comes to organising special occasions or fundraising and this year’s school council are no different. However, it was only at a school council meeting on Monday that they decided that they wanted to plan something for Children in Need. As it was too soon to arrange something for Friday, they are proposing to hold our event on Monday. On Monday they have suggested that everyone could change one item of their school uniform for 1 piece of spotty clothing. This could be spotty socks, headband, tie or perhaps a T shirt if you have one in return for a contribution of £1 toward the charity.
The school councillors will also be holding a sweet stall and a competition to find out what Pudsey’s middle name is which could win you a Pudsey soft toy. The sweets will range from 20p-50p and the Pudsey game will cost 50p a go. The winner will be announced in assembly.
As year 6 are visiting Penwortham County Primary school in the morning of Monday 19th to work alongside 2 other schools, I would ask that they come in full uniform and if they want can bring something spotty for the afternoon.
