Christmas Update

The last 2 weeks of term seem to have flown by and have been extremely busy. The trip to Lancaster to see Treasure Island was fantastic and inspired the children to write fantastic stories for the title Marooned! Christmas lunch was yummy and we all felt very full after it.

This week lots of the Hippos have enjoyed having breakdast with Santa and we had a great party with the Dragons.

Today school hosted the Holy Family figures from St Andre's church who stay at homes around the parish during advent and we had the honour of them being in our room - it fitted in brilliantly with the work we have been doing about Christmas.

Tomorrow sees the end of a long and busy term. I am really proud of all of the children and of how hard they have worked and of the many compliments they have received from other staff in school about their positive attitudes to learning and their excellent behaviour. Well done!

Thanks also to all parents for your continued support I really do appreciate it. Many thanks also for the lovely cards and your very kind gifts which will be placed under my tree tomorrow night to open on Christmas Day.
