First week back

This week we have started our literacy topic which is stories with issues and dilemmas. We read Sams duck by Michael Murpurgo, we discussed the choices Sam could make and how he would feel. In maths we have been using written methods to work out addition and subtraction money problems. Tricky!

We have started our History topic  which is about the battle of Hastings , we looked at an animated version of the Bayeux Tapestry. 

The children enjoyed Golden Time and the boys enjoyed using the Lego to make mine craft figures. Tom, Angus, James and Will we're very proud of them. Tom told me who they had made, here goes! Tom - Stampy, James- Ibalistic  squid, Angus- hero brine, Will - Steve. Well done boys!
