Kangaroo Art Week

Wow what a hectic week!

the children actually began Arts Week last Friday by looking at the work of the Kenyan artis Anne Berenge. They learnt how to draw and paint in her style. Monday saw collage work being completed with Mrs Moxham. On Tuesday morning the class went to work with Miss Stevenson accompanied by Mrs Dewhurst and Mrs Price Preston. They had great fun making Fairy doors. On Tuesday afternoon we worked with Sharn perfecting our Bollywood dancing. 

On Wednesday morning we practised our assembly and then painted flowers in the style of  Georgia O' Keefe. In the afternoon it was time to do some textile work with Miss Roberts. 

On Thursday we did our amazing assembly and then spent the morning doing our Bollywood dance again with Sharn. In the afternoon we went swimming and then did a special circle time.

this morning we have chosen our favourite art work to be framed and made posters about art week using vocabulary to show how much we enjoyed it.

As another half term ends I would like to thank you all for your support and for coming yo our assembly.
