This week we have had great fun in our English lessons, We are learning about different types of letters and have used the fabulous book The Jolly Postman to help us. In one lesson Liberty group pretended to be managing directors of the Big Broom Company who had to write a letter of apology to Wicked Witch after their company provided her with a substandard broom. The letters were amazing and the children got into the spirit of things reading them out in role.

Congratulations to 9 children who earned themselves a bronze mathletics certificate last week. I have just been on to check and 9 children have achieved bronze again this week.

Lets see if more can be awrded certificates this coming week.

Thanks for all of your help with costumes for the upcoming play. It is the dress rehearsal on Monday afternoon followed by the performances on Tuesday and Wednesday.
