Maths Challenge at Penwortham Girls High School

On Thursday 18th October, 4 of our talented Year 6 mathematicians will be representing Longton Primary in a Maths Challenge Evening. Their maths brains will be competing against other year 6 pupils from neighbouring schools. It is set to be a fun and engaging evening and anyone is welcome to go and watch the rounds. It will begin at 7.00 ( although competitors have to be there for 6.30) and the evening will consist of a problem solving task, Musical mental maths and a team relay. Presentations will be completed at 8.30 on the night and it is expected to finish at approximately 8.45.

We would like to wish them all the best and hope that they have fun, enjoy the evening and celebrate their skills.
