New Playground Competition
The school council have submitted an entry for the Wicksteed Leisure design a new playground worth £25000. In order to be in with a chance of winning, the council have uploaded a photograph of the neglected area at the side of the school and have written this short piece to persuade people to vote for our school. They need you all to tell everyone you know to vote for the school's entry as the schools with the most votes will be shortlisted for a panel of judges and they will then select the final winner. The voting can take place up to 30th November 2012 so please can you and everyone you know ( take it to work and ask all your colleagues to help us) vote for our school using this link-www.facebook.com/WicksteedPlayscapesUK

We asked the children in all the classes in KS2 and 100% agree that if they got the opportunity , they would definitely use the resource and that it would help them raise their heart rate over lunch time, offer challenge and skills whilst encouraging team work and perseverance. All these things we think will help us in our learning in class.
I hope that everyone will agree that with the statistics about unhealthy children in the
