Normal business resumes

After a busy few weeks with lots of amazing things going on the Kangaroos have had a normal week !

On Monday we were visited by Mr Coxhead who wanted to see how we do writing in year 3. The children had to work really hard to show they could remember how to write instructions and they did so brilliantly. For the lesson we transported ourselves to the potion room at Hogwarts. We had bubbling potions in class and then instructions were written to create a potion that had to be golden in colour and able to jump. The writing produced was excellent and Mr Coxhead  was very impressed. As he left he complimented the class on their knowledge of grammar and the quality of their work.

we have done a lot of science this week to use the knowledge we learnt at at the zoo. We even went outside to try out drinking as a giraffe , we found it very uncomfortable.

in maths most of the children have tackled the chunking method of division and done an amazing job.

Next week we will be going over our dance ready for the next performance on Thursday evening.
