Pointillist Art

This afternoon the children learnt a little bit about pointillism. The idea of pointillism is to create a solid space of colour using dots. A French artist called Georges- Pierre Seurat made this technique famous.

in their brand new very smart sketch books the children had a go at working in this style. As Oliver said it takes ages  but it doesn't matter because it will look great. Just the right attitude.
