Science by accident

This is science by acident an experiment very easy to do.We found out that if you take any sort of haribo gelitine sweet and place it in medium temperature water ; it will expand and turn twice as big.You coud use:gummy bears, fizzy cola bottles , normal cola bottles , fizzy dummies , dummies , cherries , fizzy cherries ,strawberries , fizzy srawberries and alot more. If you use sweets with foam on the bottom of it it wil not work. It will fall apart because the top bit will take in water but the botom bit does not because it does not have holes in like the top. We realise this science is to do with water absorbtion. We are going to leave it out to see what happens. What do you think?
