Teaching Year 1

Year 6 have planned and taught a Computing lesson for Year 1! This is the first in a series of lessons they will teach over the course of the next five weeks. They have had to think carefully about how they can explain computer programming concepts in a way that Year 1 pupils understand. Today, Year 1 have learnt what an 'algorithm' is and have begun to use the 'Scratch Junior' app to control a character. 

Both classes have thoroughly enjoyed the lesson! We clearly have some great teachers of the future in our midst!
