Writing rhymes

This morning we looked at the verse sang by the Roly Poly bird in The Twits. We learnt about rhyming couplets and looked at syllables. It was a real challenge to get the rhyming couplets in and an even bigger challenge to match the number of syllables Roald Dahl used in each verse.
