Eco Warriors
Welcome!
The Eco Team here at Longton is committed to ensuring that we, as a school, do all we can to be friendly to our environment. We have been awarded the presitigous Green Flag Award in recognition of the steps we have taken to make our school community increasingly eco-friendly.
We are keen to continue our good work and are always thinking of new ideas to improve our environmental impact.
The Eco Team is made up of Eco Warriors from Y1 to Y6. The pupils meet regularly and will be using this section of the school website to keep you up-to-date on some of our Eco activities and strategies.

ECO WARRIORS UPDATE: May 2013
The Eco Warriors have had a busy few weeks preparing flowers for the school fair, clearing the class flower beds of those nasty weeds, and orchestrating a much-needed 'tidy up' of the Greenhouse and Garden Shed.
Last Wednesday, we braved the heavy rain and wind and have had a great sort out of the bog garden. This week we were treated to some glorious sun.
A few photographs have been posted at the bottom of this page!
