The week ahead

Our lessons this week will focus on

Spelling - homophones

Grammar - understanding of vocabulary - noun, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, apostrophe, inverted commas, pronoun.

Reading - a variety of response activities to the Dick King Smith stories the children have been reading.

English - writing a story, back to the future themed.

Maths - mental and formal subtraction. 

Topic - comparing maps of Preston Docks.  Bob is coming into class to tell us some stories of the docks. 

PSHE - story massage, British Value - Respect, discussions.

R.E. - Buddhism, the festival of Wesak. 

P.E. - swimming Thursday, Cricket Friday.
