Anti Bullying Awareness

This years anti-bullying week motto 'make a noise about bullying', has led to superb work going on in all classes. Children have shown a great understanding of how they can stop bullying quickly by supporting each other and talking about it and telling adults, if they see bullying or are the victim of bullying.

The week ended in an assembly were they shared their learning with each other. Today children wore a 'loud coloured' accessory, in support of making a noise about bullying.

At Longton Primary we are fully committed to stamping out bullying. During Anti - Bullying week and throughout the year, our pupils recognise the features of a goog friend and what that means and what to do if you or a friend is feeling bullied.

We have created an Anti Bullying charter and a poster about what to do if you are worried about bullying.
