Autumn Term 1

Date: 9th Oct 2026 @ 11:13am

Year 5 have had an absolutely fantastic and action-packed half term! Our residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall was a real highlight, with everyone embracing exciting challenges such as Jacob’s Ladder, the Giant Swing and rafting, while making wonderful memories and enjoying time with friends. Back in the classroom, Science has been full of hands-on experiments and exciting discoveries, including designing and making our very own water filters. We also took part in an incredible world-record attempt, joining people around the world to read at the same time! We are eagerly awaiting the results to find out if we helped make history. What an amazing half term full of adventure, teamwork and learning! 🌟
