Year 4 Update

We have had a fantastic start to the year in Year 4 and have been busy learning, exploring and having lots of fun!

In PE, we have been learning an exciting dance routine to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, developing our confidence and performance skills.

Our Science lessons have been fascinating as we have explored the human digestive system and learnt about human and animal teeth. In Geography, we have been discovering the amazing world of the rainforest, including its different layers and the plants and animals that live there.

In Maths, we have been working hard on place value, addition and subtraction, while in English we have enjoyed lots of learning based around our class book, Lights on Cotton Rock.

We have also been busy in Computing, where we have started creating our own multimedia quizzes, combining our creativity and digital skills.

It has been a brilliant start to the half term, and we are looking forward to all the exciting learning still to come!
