Welcome to Longton Nursery
Our nursery is a special part of the Longton Primary School community, providing a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where our youngest children can learn, explore and grow.
Based within our dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Unit, our nursery provides children with a safe and engaging space designed specifically for their needs. Our dedicated outdoor area gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, play, develop their independence and build friendships.
Our experienced EYFS team creates a caring environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to have a go. We take time to get to know each child and work closely with families to ensure that children settle happily and receive the support they need to thrive.
Through carefully planned experiences, children develop across all areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, literacy, mathematics, personal and social development and understanding the world. We provide rich opportunities for children to learn through play, develop their confidence and curiosity, and build the skills they need for the next stage of their education.
Our nursery is now an established and much-loved part of Longton Primary, and we are delighted to offer our youngest children the opportunity to Care, Grow and Shine from the very beginning of their school journey.
