We are incredibly excited and look forward to welcoming your child. Before the doors officially open, we encourage you to get in touch and arrange a visit, so you can see first-hand what a wonderful environment your child could begin their learning journey in.
As we celebrate 100 years of providing quality education in Longton, we are thrilled to introduce a brand new addition to our school community — our very own nursery! This exciting development marks the beginning of a new chapter, allowing us to nurture even younger learners and support their early development.
Our nursery is situated within our dedicated EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Unit, which has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of early years children. The self-contained outdoor space provides a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, play, and learn together, fostering strong communication and social skills.
Our experienced EYFS team is specially trained to create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. We believe that a caring atmosphere is fundamental to helping children develop confidence and a love for learning. We work closely with parents to ensure that each child's individual needs are met, building strong partnerships to support their growth.
All areas of learning — including communication, physical development, literacy, numeracy, and social skills — are carefully planned and supported, ensuring children make excellent progress. Our goal is for every child to leave the unit with outcomes that are typically above the national average, setting a strong foundation for their future education.
