As part of our geography work we read the story Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. In the story the it rains orange juice, snows mashed potato and storms hamburgers! We designed our own Island of Stew and used a key to add things, we came up with some great ideas.
We also really enjoyed looking on Google Earth at Longton, we zoomed in on the school, the park and the Brickcroft as well as the village itself ,discussing what we could see.
